Looking forward to 2021, China will usher in the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan", and it will also usher in more opportunities and challenges. Under the guidance of the new development concept, transportation should shift from pursuing speed and scale to focusing more on quality and efficiency, from relatively independent development of various transportation modes to more focusing on integrated development, and from relying on traditional factors to focus more on innovation. In the practice of building green roads, the promotion of the application of "four new" technologies and the realization of pavement science and intelligent management will become the focus of future work.
       In order to implement the strategy of building a powerful country in transportation, summarize and promote the experience of improving the durability of highway engineering and prolonging the service life of pavement, the 2021 Green City Construction-6th Asphalt Pavement Maintenance Conference will be held on April 15-16, 2021 in Shenzhen, China.
